Dual batteries or jump box?

Dual batteries are one of the simplest upgrades on a runabout.
1 Battery
2 Cables
Possibly a new master switch (If the boat doesn't have one or the current switch doesn't have 2 positive posts)

For me, 2 batteries are a "must"

Thank you all for your replies. I was beginning to think maybe the new sea rays were using solar panels in their Bimini for their music systems I agree a backup system for starting the engine is a no-brainer.

I had a jump battery on the boat once. It had 120 volt outlet. I tried to use it as power source for an electric blanket all it did was make to power cord hot. If you get a jump battery all it is good for is charging cell phones and starting the boat. It also become a projectile in rough water. If you get a second battery installed by the dealer it become a true source of power for all on your boat

Good one!
