Has anyone modified their stainless drink rings to accomodate taller cups, yetis, etc.? I feel like I'm constantly cleaning up spills or just not using the holder as they barely hold a can in place without topping over. Would love to see what kind of mods people have done, if any. Thanks.

How about a thin plastic sheet rolled into a tube shape then stand in the ring and let it uncoil, or maybe a section cut out of a already round plastic container, it might provide a little more "height" to keep drinks from flipping, and easy enough to slip out and clean when needed.

What size are the rings... meaning, how about using a can koozie? Will the koozie make the can/koozie fit "snugly" into the ring? Koozies come in different thicknesses, as well. But, yes, these rings are best used only when the boat isn't running.

Unless you want to tackle removing it completely and finding a taller model or extending the posts?

ClifA solved this in another thread, but I have TRS so you need to search. Thinking in this forum.

Thanks Wayne. CliffA’s are a bit different but his mod is cool nonetheless (pic below). I’m hoping someone has come up with a mod that doesn’t require removing the entire fiberglass panel to access the fasteners underneath.
