How is Dale Hollow as far as finding stuff to do? As in would it be difficult for me doing a solo trip with my bowrider to entertain myself? I can only fish for so long.
You would be better off to go to Lake Cumberland if you are looking for things to do it is in a more populated area and coming from Ohio Lake Cumberland about 3 hours closer out of Cinci.

We've done 4 house boat trips over the years on Dale Hollow.A great place to go to get away from it all. The trip in 2011 I didn't have a boat of my own . My son's buddy how went with us had a 14 foot bass tracker and that was enough to get me back to owning a boat again.

Yes, Lake Cumberland is a beautiful lake.
And as you said, more populated.
However, If you want to enjoy a quieter day with less boat traffic.
Then Dale Hollow offers that.
