I want to drain the coolant from both engines. I am looking for some suggestions on what else you would do if you are spending the time and money to do the change and flush.

Impellers would be an example. Would you look at changing the impellers if you were unsure the last time they were changed?

Anything else you would suggest doing? My plan is to do the coolant every 2-3 years.

Thanks,

Impellers for sure, but they’re on the raw water side and whether or not you change the coolant/antifreeze has no bearing on doing the impellers.
But since you will be draining all the coolant anyway it may be a good time to pull the heat exchangers off and have them cleaned at a radiator shop. Great time to change the thermostats. Then check and change any hoses on the coolant/antifreeze side that look like they may be getting tired.
