Don't clean them dude, replace them. Take your own advice on being a prick, and then I might!! Just sayin..........[/QUOTE] In my line of work, it goes something like this: Monday your on an engine change, Tuesday your replacing landing gear, Wednesday your trouble shooting a radar or maybe an A/C problem, Thursday your rigging Flt. Control cables or stripping the whole interior out to replace(completely gutted), Friday your working gate calls, maybe changing that nasty seat cover, or maybe even a toliet that won't flush, when the aircraft is on the gate ready for boarding and a problem arises, it's gotta be dealt with immediately. Aircraft sitting idle on "Da ground, ain't makin' no money". get the picture??? No special person to change that seat cover, airline can't afford it, they used to have cleaners to do that, but w/the cheap fares, they had to go.I do miss those guys/girls at times too!!

Every aircraft has different engines: Rolls Royce RB211's, CF-6's, CFM-56's, GE90's, V2500's (Airbus). BTW, i only lash out at you when your talkin' **** about Unions (i am a union member, even though i don't always agree w/them) Or when your talkin' **** about "LIB'S) as you would call them, and so forth( I'm an Independant BTW)........ Just sayin........

10-4 on the TOTAL cost! I was reading on cell phone and looked like it was just engine costs. I'm pretty familiar with the engine brands and their costs as my partner and good friend owns Southern Pride Trucking and I get pretty involved with him reading "bills of lading". I Talk smack about unions and libs and never once attack you personally or try to belittle you in front of the group. The dollar amount was thrown out to remind you that we are not just some oil change company. We do vary little "greasy" work. 85% of our work is electronics and HVAC. The next 12% is full interior demolition and remodel. I will change the oil and do a chasis service on good customers and remodels as a courtesy to keep them from having to go to diesel shops and getting their interiors dirty.

Edit: I mean no dis-respect towards oil change company owners. My dad was diesel mechanic for 50 years so I have been there!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm a little worried that someone as unstable as this guy is actually working on planes. Seems like he's going to go postal someday and purposefully leave the spark plugs out of the engine or something. Show the world he has "the power" and not an insignificant union bug.

I know your not an oil change operation, you do remods and such that are sometime similar to what we do w/aircraft. BTW, If i get on here and talk **** about repubs/democrats, people take that personally, if they are one or the other. If one talks **** about unions, it's no different than talkin smack about the business owner, lawyers, ect. My sister and wife had a little heated conversation last night at Outback, it was kind of funny too. she's a Big Wheel w/ ATT wireless (she has worked hard to get where she is), she's in mgmt. i left for a restroom break, to come back to this discussion. i guess the union over there is threatning to strike, so they send the mgmt people to pole climbing class, ect. mainly to just scare the worker bees, that mgmt could do their jobs. LMAO, but they (union) are fighting for raises, ect. you know the drill. So my sister says "They can't do my job" , wife reply's, "And you can't do theirs"!! Sister finally agreed that no, she can't do theirs either!! I'm about to bust out laughing, she just got a big promo w/a 15% pay raise, payed move and all to dallas. If the company won't give the union workers raises, all they have is to threaten w/a strike. But, it is what it is. Have a nice day Donnie!!

No worries " Fore Skins", I'm quite happy w/ my job/career, and take it very seriously!! My wife fly's on these aircraft every week, and BTW, Aircraft engines don't have spark plugs dummy, they have Igniter plugs. Go back to your desk job (something you know something about), because it sure isn't Commercial Aircraft.:lol::smt043

This is where your little brain gets it all wrong. Management's job is not to go out and climb poles. It's to see how many people are willing to climb poles at the lowest price and hire those people. Sorta like how you go to Harbor Freight to get those cheap ass tools of yours instead of Snap-On. Can you take off a 1" bolt without a tool? Does that mean the tool is worth more than you? Probably not... if the tool breaks, you go spend $1.99 and get another one. No big deal.

The lesson here is simple... don't be a tool. Otherwise you'll be treated like one.

So who am I as I owned a company that repaired trucks and heavy equipment? Grease monkey of the year? Made darn good money and supported many national businesses with technical/repair support. I'm a technical trainer now with a global corporation. Not too shabby for an ex-field technician. I was a technical support specialist for NA with this company until getting the new job.

Tech support is the best service manager job in the world. I direct repairs on million dollar pieces of equipment without the hassle of employees and I don't have to collect money at the end of the month to make some P&L statement look good.

BTW what’s with the smiley faces and disclaimers after each rebuttal?

Just makes a rebuttal meaningless. If you are going to call someone out then use the correct smiley.:smt018 Like this one.

They were antibiotics for an ear infection. She had a perferated eardrum and had been taking them for 3 days. They took them and said I couldn't have them back. That was in November 2006 and my daughter was 5 at the time. D*CK

You still didn't answer whether or not there was a script label for the meds. If there was a label, they wouldn't have been taken from you.

Don't get mad at me because you don't know how to follow the rules.

Hey gang, looks like our work is done here. Going to troll the BOC site for awhile. See if I can get some bayliner bashing in. :smt024:smt014

Who said anything about being mad? I just used the word as you posted it. The problem not because it wasn't labled it was an agent who didn't know the rules. Sometimes you can't win an arguement because the other person has the mentallity of a child. In that case its better to cut your losses than get drawn into a hopeless battle. Maybe if I made a stink and got a supervisor involved it would have turned out different but it is what it is and I just took care of the problem when we got to FT Worth.

I just started looking at this thread. To answer the question, I'm not quite sure of my safety at this point. Are they carrying guns yet? Any Uzzi's?
When they start doing so, I will then worry.
