Does the Clarion CMD4 have seperate outputs for a sub?

The manual lists 6 outputs, 2 of which are called "non fader right" and "non fader left". I'm thinking that's for the sub amp but just wanted first hand confirmation.

Thanks

They will output signal, so you could hook them up to a sub amp, but there is no level control. You probably have the CMD 4A, which is what I had in my boat before I upgraded to the CMD 8, which does have subwoofer level control, but only front/rear outputs.
My sub amp has a remote level control, I could control it there I suppose... not ideal but usable?

Installed this weekend while on the lake... worked out great! I mounted a 10" sub on the end of the aft facing cockpit seat. I mounted the amp beside the factory one in the salon with the level control in the captains cup holder compartment on the starboard wall. It was nice to be able to control the subwoofer separately since some songs have varying levels of bass compared to others.

Thanks Scott!

FYI follow-up:
On the Clarion CMD4, the non-fader outputs (subwoofer outputs) are controlled with the volume control... just no ability to set the ratio, but remote level on the amp does that in my case.

You guys see the new M704? Any old deck blew, got a CDM8 for $236, the 704 looks really cool, but it's not readily available and it's $600!!!

Yeah the older head units with wired remotes were 6 pin, the newer wired remotes are 8 pin; the two extra are for power and ground. I also added a fusion Bluetooth adaptor for $40 ... just power it up and plug directly into the auxiliary inputs.... now I can stream music from phone/ tablet directly to stereo... worked real well.
