Dockside cable TV

I have a 2005 320 Sundancer w/ Glomex TV antenna and gain control amplifier in the cabin. My question is if the gain control has a definite click off position when using cable TV. I cannot seem to get a good picture when hooked up to cable, it appears the bypass in the gain control doesn't work. Mine never seems to switch off. Should there be a definite click!

My 07 - 320 clicks off.

My 06 320 clicks off and the red light goes out.

Could not get very good reception with the Glomax so I just bypassed the switch. Works with cable or satelite much better.

Mine clicks off...I have some channels that come in more clear than others.
