I’m looking for new dock lines for my slip. Does anyone know of an online store with discount prices? In particular I’m looking for 1/2” or 5/8" x 50’ lines with a loop end. I found this site but they are in Canada and I have no feedback on them.

Around this time of the year WM runs specials on them, about 25% off. I usually try catching this deal.

This. I bought a whole new set up for the permanent lines on my slip at the 25% off sale... not to bad of a deal.

5/8" sounds like overkill unless your slip or marina is in a very windy spot.

I met these folks at a boat show: http://www.onlineropestore.com/. Competitive prices but I don't think as good as the WM 25% off that I would recommend as well if you haven't missed it this year.

MarinMax gear center was just running a buy one get one free promo on fenders & dock lines. Call your local store and see if they'll still honor that promotion...

Funny you should post this today. I just got a WestMarine flyer in the mail today. On the front page is an ad for 20% off all their WM Brand Premium Prespliced 3-strand nylon dock lines. Nothing mentioned about braided lines, which I prefer.

This is not a discount store, but for anybody looking for high quaility, custom made lines try Cruiser Marine.

I ordered over 300 feet of custom made braided dock lines with a 24" eye splice. I can't get the standard 12" eye over my cleats, and wanted a custom color combo to match the boat. Also needed 55' lines, and those you will never find in stock at any store. Ordered Black with Red tracers. They told me 4 week process time and sure enough they shipped them exactly on time. They were a pleasure to do business with. Ask for Wayne

I've purchased 300' of line, split it with a buddy and made all my own dock lines and travel lines - any size I want. All you need to do is make your own eye splice. Pretty easy and you'll spend 60% less than WM's sale prices. Check on ebay.
