I definitely add pink through the shower drain until if flushes.

I often have a tiny bit of water under the box, outside it. I expect there are drains that take it to the bilge, but I still give it a splash of pink just in case. I don't want ice forming under the box.

Do you do this?

I don't have water outside the box.

Maybe one of your hoses is leaking?

There are no drains in that compartment. If it would fill up enough, it would overrun into the cabin. Unless the box is leaking, that area should stay dry. A common leak point is the shower drain or the head portlight. The portlight can leak BETWEEN the hull and the head liner so you wouldn't see it.

Yes, I always add pink to the shower drain until it starts to fill the sump box. Water can lay in a low spot in the hose.

I removed the lines entering the box and cup my hand around the a shop vac to clear them all. It would pull the inevitable dirt through the lines condensate line so it would flow well next season. I also remove the check valve from the discharge hose and vac the box dry. I like to put boats away as dry as possible.

It's not much and it could have been from a few sources months ago, but I would think that it would evaporate by now.

I resealed all my snaps and wiper in the Spring as they were all loose. Another time the door jumped off track right before we got caught in a thunderstorm. I was drenched trying to get that door shut (never did that day) The head portlight could use some silicone on the seal and maybe tightening on the screws with the latches.

I'll vacuum the water out when I clean the interior.
