I just bought a Raymarine e120 classic and hooked it up and am getting no GPS fix. I've learned that this unit does not have an internal GPS antenna. Are there any external antennas that are plug and play with this unit? Do I have to buy an antenna AND a SeaTalk unit?

In short, what's the quickest, easiest and cheapest way do make this darn thing work for GPS/navigation purposes?

Thx.

The C and E series do not have GPS, they just match up data from a gps source onto the chart. What you are calling the GPS antenna is the actual GPS device. The classics can accept gps data from either seatalk, or nema 0183. Problem will be finding a good working Raystar 125 or equivalent.
