Dismal Swamp smoke

We left Hampton Monday on our way to Cape Charles, VA, to the smell of fire smoke. We later learned it was from fires in the Dismal Swamp.

It's now Thursday, we are on the boat in VA Beach and it's very strong today.

Who else is getting a whif of this?

I'm not getting the Dismal Swamp smoke but I am getting some of the Hyde County, NC smoke. The good news is both of these fires are getting contained but the smoke may last for a few more weeks (at least according to this morning's news).

We just crawled out pof the cabin (too hot) to go for a ding ride. Visibility is greatly reduced because of the smoke..hopefully we can get out of here tomorrow.
