For those of you who cannot find oil in the type/viscosity or container size you need, Keller-Heartt Oil <khlubes.com> has a Black Friday special on everything on their site.....15% off on everything (discount code COLD15) with free shipping and no tax in most locations.

My UPS guy will hate me!

Great resource Frank!
I was able to get the straight 30W Rotella in 1 gallon jugs at Walmart for just under $14.00 a gallon. They only had a couple of them on the shelf but I ordered the rest on their website for in store pickup and they were there a couple of days later.
Although I used the reverso pump to drain the motors, I like to put the new oil in through the fill so the 1 gallon jugs work out better for me. A little more time consuming for sure, but it works for me.

Just curious why pour the new oil in the fill cap instead of using the reverso system?

If leaving the few ounces of old oil in the oil change pump and plumbing bothers you, try pumping the old oil out, then let the engine sit a few minutes and turn on the pump again while pouring 1/2 a quart of fresh oil in the engine and let the pump run until it pumps air.

I much prefer the oil change pump to pump in new oil since 5 gal buckets are easier to handle than a bunch of gallons and because there is no chance of getting debris into a funnel and then in the engine.

Not a major thing, but one reason is what Frank touched on about that tiny bit of old dirty oil in the line.
The other reason is that I generally do the oil change in November when the new oil is very cold due to ambient temps in the 40’s and don’t want to strain the impeller in the reverso pump.
Neither is a big deal, but I’ve got the time to pour from the gallon jugs.
