We have just started a company "2M Marine" to provide some new marine accessories to the boating market.
Our first offering is our own Dingy Davits and we are offering them for sale at a great starting price of $2125 plus shipping

Dang...that appears dangerously close to the H30. Keep an eye on your mailbox for registered mail from Hurley? :)
I wouldn’t worry, we inherited a H3O when we bought the current boat. Based on our three year experience, the H3O concept is a PITA/POS unless you have a swim platform the size of an aircraft carrier deck.

That boat has a 280 badge, but the swim platform form is definitely larger than a 280 OEM platform. The issue is that when the davit is spun 90 degrees the boat has to be raised up into the air even without the front bar in place, and if the distance from the turntable center is too short (as is ours) the boat is nearly vertical. I would say based on our 280 dinghy experience this davit and the Hurley H3O would not work on the OEM platform.

I think that’s a 380 badge, but still looks like an add on swim platform.

I was merely commenting on the similarities of the 2M to the rather well known Hurley, not the effectiveness of the design. Though had the prior owner of your H30 done their due diligence with Hurley (which is free) they would have advised not to install the davit if there wasn't sufficient room to operate it properly...

I don’t see where Hurley has any patents on the H30. They advertise other patent products but not the H30

Not built to fit every boat, and the one in the photo is on a 380

I did not perform a patent search :) Just thought it was "shockingly similar"...

Best of luck with your sales, Marc.

My swim platform is smaller than yours and my hurley H30 fits fine, no extension needed and I have an electric winch.
Just put some blue trim on yours and call it a Hurley.
