I was looking at getting a dinghy for use here in the Northwest for use when exploring the islands, etc. Since I also like to fish, I was looking at using a roll-up and storing down below.
What do people think about using a soft bottom boat here in the Northwest. Am I doomed to punctures? Should I get a flat bottom boat with boards, which is slower?
Is PVC adequate for a roll-up or is life also limited even when stored inside most of the time?
What is your experience? :huh: What do recommend for a boat and a motor?
