MerCruiser 5.0L MPI Bravo III - 260hp
Have a 2006 Sea Ray Sundancer 300 with swim platform. Beam is 10.5’ but not sure exact width of swim platform Looking for recos. for a dinghy / davit combo. Would like to be able to keep engine attached (4 stroke?) to dinghy if possible. Willing to pay for nice system if it means not having to worry abt securing dinghy with ropes/cable/whatever. TIA

I have the one from thedinghydavit.com and love it. Push a button and the whole thing is placed on the platform.

my advice would be a 9’6” or less for that boat. I had a 310 dinghy on our 290, which had a 10’2” beam, and it hung off on both sides. It would get clipped by the wake in any kind of sea and was a pain at times to dock with

Look at Nautley Dinghy Ramps or the dinghydavit.com setup - both allow you to just pull it on and leave the motor attached.

I would check with Sea Ray and see what weight limit the swim platform is rated for. That could be a limiting factor.
