Dinghy Bench Seat

I am looking to upgrade the bench seat on my Achilles 9ft dinghy. I saw this model on Saturday but I could not make out the brand name on it. Any ideas on where I can find it?

Not sure, but the bench looks like one from a Walker Bay dinghy. Buddy has one and seems to have the same bench seat.

Thank you for the advise. I contacted my local Walker Bay dealer and they have several of them available as take outs. Only $75 each!

If any of you Achilles owners ever wants one of these cushioned seats I have one, brand new, never used, I'd sell. A supplier had the nerve to send it to me for my Zodiak . They let me keep it after sending the correct cushion...

We have a 12.5 foot Zodiac with a soft bottom and wood floor. One trip we had wear on some parts due non standard parts rubbing. If you put in something that will rub protect the area. You may need to add a patch so the patch can take the rubbing.

The Walker Bay seat was narrower than the Achilles seat, maybe 2 or 3 inches. I thought about relocating the seat channel patch on each side, but instead opted to incorporate the Achilles seat into the Walker Bay. I pulled out the trusty Dremel tool with the little cut off wheel and made a slot for the wood plank of the Achilles to slide into the plastic of the Walker Bay. I'll post some pictures of it installed when I make it to the boat hopefully this weekend, but I think it turned out good.
