I have Lumitec non-dimming 4 color lights (white, blue, red and purple). I always thought that they were just too bright in the cockpit area...So after a ton of research and phone calls to Lumitec... I found if you use a Intervolt SLD2040DC dimmer and you wire in a 300 ohm resistor. I can now dim them as low as they go without the light flickering ... Just figure I would put this out there just in case anyone wanted to do it....I just wired it up as a test....now have to wire it all into the boat...fun fun fun...

That is great to hear, I totally agree. Can you elaborate on this, i would like to try one also? where did you wire this in?

o sry, You have to wire the resistor on the output of the dimmer.... crossing the pos and neg.
