Digitial Trottle Control (DTC)

Any recommendations on DTC? I am in the market for a 2007 and 2008 SR 290 DA. The 2008 has DTC but they are exact in almost every other single way. Any thoughts?

My boat is the first with DTC and I love it. Very smooth compared to my last boat that had the mechanical system. However, in your case price may determine which way you go. Also in my case the throttle and shift are all in one which is very nice for 2008.

I have DTC. I like it for the fact that I think it is better than I ever was on the shifting. It is silky smooth and I never hear any grinding or anything, even when maneuvering and shifting the throttles forward and back again and again.
