I had assumed that my 2008 310 Dancer would come with a digital ready TV, but apparently it did not, as I found out last weekend.

Could it be that it was a mistake on SeaRay's part since I don't think they have made NTSC-only TV's for a few years?

If it was a mistake or oversight, am I eligible to have a new set or tuner installed? The boat is still under warranty by the way.

Anybody else out there with this problem?

Thanks!

Sea Ray swapped my analog TV for a digital at no cost. Contact your dealer and they should replace it under warranty.

I had the same problem with my 2007 320 da; It came with an "LG" older tv; I called searay and they told me to pound sand, even though they should have put a digital tv in the boat. So I called my dealer ( good dealers will take care of you) and they replaced the tv with a bigger, better digital Samsung tv at no cost to me. Any body with "LG" tvs probably have the older non didgital tvs and should contact their dealers. I think what happened is that Searay purchased alot of tvs in bulk and, instead of doing the right thing and return them to LG ,they just put them in the boats hoping no one would find out or let the poor dealers take care of the problem

I had a copy of the notice that Sea Ray sent out that said they'd swap out the TVs if you bought your boat approximately Oct 1, 2007. I was 6 weeks out and the new service manager is (I won't use the words to describe) so they told me too bad, heard the same from Sea Ray when I pressed them.

However, if you read a bit deeper, in my case, Sea Ray was not allowed to ship the boat across state lines with an analog TV and the dealer was required to basically tag it so that it was obvious that it was analog (I thought it was digital when I bought the boat).
