We just installed a 22" flat screen TV in our 310. Before the signals coverted to all digital, we got about 10 channels, now the conversaton has taken place, we only 1 channel! What's up with that? Do we need to get a converter box even though the TV is digital? Would a HD antenna work as well (regular household type)?

I took my HDTV home to program on my house antenna, I got better reception and a lot more channels at first. I have to do it again since the switchover. I was told some of the stations shifted channels just a little bit.

Diebroke,

Just a tip, since your boat is even older than mine. I found that the coax above the arch was all corroded where the connector was attached. So the antenna was not even in the circuit. There was not enough slack to trim the coax back to good condition. I had to put a new connector onto about four feet of fresh coax and feed it through the hole, into the arch, and connect to the original coax in the middle behind the access cover. I am using an Artec converter. This got me from a few digital stations to about 20. Of course, only half are worth watching.

I'd love to see how you mounted the flat screen TV. I would like to keep the sliding swivel tray.
