I recently acquired an 87 Sea Ray S-19, bow rider for restoration, it has the full swim platform, slx interior option, and the larger V-6 I/O. I have replaced the decking--the stringers and foam were in good shape (that I was glad about) and I am now getting the interior redone. My question is how can I tell if it is a Seville or a Sorrento. I really just want to know for my own reference, but this question has been bothering me since I got the boat.:huh:

sea ray.com have a vast supply of information and go with the model and year archive records

Yea I looked there (kinda why I want to know if mine is a Sorrento or a Seville)..The only model # I can find on my boat (well besides the hull ID#) is S-19 (and they used that on both models) I did download a brochure for a Sorrento (that fits my boat's description from info I've found so far) but I'm still not sure that is a correct asumption on my part.

Seville was the entry-level model. Sort-of like today's Sport.

I have a sales booklet that has all the specs and pictures. Feel free to call me. I will PM you my phone # I think that I could scan some of it and send it to you.

I think the seville had a flat windshield. and a cutout in the center of the swim platform. Thats the way i remember them anyway

Seville has a flat windshield, add-on swim platform for cuddys and cutout on bowriders, smaller powerplants (rarely the 260), a vertical stern, and was the entry level.

Sorrento has a curved windshield, integrated swim platform, I haven't seen one without at least 260hp, stylized stern to integrate the swim platform, and was the uplevel boat.
