Difference between 330 and 340

Comparing the 2000 330 and 340: The 330 is 33'6" overall length, 13'5" Beam, 16,500# dry weight, fuel capacity 275gals. The 340 is 33'6" overall length, 11'5" beam, 13,000# dry weight, fuel capacity 225gals. The big differences are the fuel capacity, weight and the beam on the 330. The wider beam creates a more open cockpit for fishing and diving.

Is the rumble seat a potential "Cool Mod" for 320 and 340 owners? It comes in handy for when you let your impellers fail and you can see smoke pouring out of the bilge. Ha Ha Ha

There is warning light at the helm if seat is not stored in upright position when starting engines. Not sure if this would prevent starting if seat was down (I will have to try this next time out).

Personally, I am really suprised that the lawyers at SR allowed the rumble seat in the first place. Unless it has a kill switch that doesn't all the engine to run with it deployed, I would anticipate the first lawsuit to come any day now. Picture someone sitting on it to oberserve a skier or tube, go from a standstill to WOT....oppps there they go, right into the props.
You're just jealous because you don't have one

No warning light at my helm...

We have a 2009 330 and we love the "rumble" seat. We use it on the docks when people are socializing right by our boat. It provided extra seating too.
Our V-berth bed has a remote control so that it moves down toward the galley when it's time to sleep. The mattress is a foam one.
Great boat!

Anybody have the length of the V berth cushion for the 08–09 330 DA,
As a comparative note, does anybody have the length of the cushion for an 03–08 340 Sundancer ?
