Looking to replace the filter on my Parker Diesel fuel filter to my generator.
Is there a procedure to prime these? I have tried calling Parker directly. No answer.

On the top is a knob that says to turn also 2 screws that seem to be removable. Maybe for bleeding???

See attached photo.

Page 6/44 here https://www.parker.com/literature/Racor/Mobile_200_Series.pdf has the procedure.
That knob is your hand primer. I think you open the vent, loosen that knob and it pops up so you can pump/prime it then end with a down stroke and tighten/close it then close the vent but knot sure.

PS can you tell us about your boat and maybe some pics?
Hi Mitch,

Thanks for the info on this. I will try it out and report back.
Re my boat. I had 3 Searay's (240, 280, 350 Sundancers, prior to this and loved them all. got tired of replacing canvas. My wife and I saw this at the Miami boat show and bought it. Would have went with the 40 foot Searay Sundancer but it was too large for our slip with the platform.

So we purchased the C37 Carver. 37'8". Absolutely love it. Engines are rare in the US. Mercury Diesels 4.2 TDI (Made by Audi / Volkswagen)

Here is the actual boat at the show:
