Off-road is foreign territory for a Z3, so yes, damage would be acceptable in such a scenario.
A more fitting analogy would be if said Z3 were to encounter a pot-hole on a freeway at 65 MPH and the transmission fell out.
We could all yell at the driver and tell him he should've gone slower, but if everything that supported the transmission was rotted and the driver had reason to believe it was sound, I for one, wouldn't accuse him of recklessness.
I can't believe that I have to state this again, but it's not acceptable for stringers to be crushed by wave action.
Is this the kind of expectations we want to put our lives on?
