Any of you local Sea Ray owners know of any good places to Skin Dive in the Destin/PCB Area?
Destin/PCB area Skin Diving Sites

Panama City is loaded with artificial reefs for diving. Best bet if interested is to get in touch with one of the companies that runs offshore crew boats to those sites. There are several and I understand all are well run, have good equipment and qualified personnel.
Since most sites are well off shore, it is better to "Take a bus and leave the driving to us". The dive boats are all twin diesel crew boats in the 50ft range and are capable of running in pretty good seas.
There are a few inshore sites, a couple in the bay and the jetties offer some really neat snorkling.
Destin is a fishing village and the diving opportunities are somewhat limited since you have to run further offshore to get to decent sites.

Have you considered diving the Oriskany out of Pensacola? Pensacola is the final resting place for the USS Oriskany, the world’s largest artificial reef. 911' long, 150' tall and 146' wide aircraft carrier. Sunk in 212' of water 22 miles from shore. No problem, you might want to check with the dive shop mentioned in my previous reply. (Gulf Coast Dive Pros) They might be able to steer you towards some good spots.

For inshore try the jetties at St. Andrews State Park in Panama City.
