My Brother works in the Automotive industry and gets some interesting e-mails from the inside.

Here is one he forwarded to me this morning

To all you deer hunters out there. How do you pack a 140 pound deer into a BMW convertible?

Hunters will do ANYTHING to avoid the inspection stations!!

That's funny because the old Mazda RX-2 and Chevy Vega that we used didn't pack the dear nearly as well as the BMW!!

That reminds me of a cartoon back in the late 80's that had fragments of a deer, nothing recognizable and all small chunks mounted above a fireplace. The owner talking to a friend says, "I got it with my AK-47" :)

That had better be covered by warrenty.
Not a chance.

Reminds me of the people (when I wrote auto service) that used to bring in their hydrolocked vehicles with bent rods from driving through deep water after heavy rains expecting warranty to cover the $8000 engine. :) They weren't much fun to deal with.

There has to be an easier way to make deer burger!!!

This is both disgusting and fascinating... so many questions...
Where is the deer's head? How fast was the car really going? Was the driver hurt? So the deer squeezed through the kidney grille? Was the car fixed? Does it smell like venison when you turn on the heat?

Looks like a european license plate. I wonder how fast you have to travel to stuff a deer that far into the engine compartment? I'm guessing FAST!!

If that happened to me, I would get a collar made that said "rudolph" and stuff it down in the guts of the thing and stick a red clown nose on what's left of the snout... then watch the mechanic pull it apart and take pictures of his reaction.

Car is registered in Frankfurt/Germany. 140 mph is fast, but not that unusual. The only thing I ever scraped of my car at that speed (150 mph) was a bird being stuck in a Mercedes grill. Wasn't messy at all. The mechanic didn't even blink.

OK, but what does a bird weigh... a pound? The critter in these pics ain't no bird.
