The recently announced departure of Rob Noyes as V.P. of Marketing for Sea Ray will have a negative impact for CSR members. Rob was an advocate and was always open to new ideas and willing to listen to input from us. With his departure, we are faced with starting over, building a new relationship with whomever ends up in charge of marketing for Sea Ray. As owners of Sea Ray boats, or even as shareholders, there is nothing we can do to reverse or alter a corporate restructuring. What we can do is to let the company know about Rob's value to Sea Ray owners. Hopefully, if enough of us make our thoughts known, the message will get passed on to Rob's replacement and we can get started on a positive note rather than beginning on square #1 again. If you think this idea has merit, feel free to write Rob a "thank you" letter and be sure to copy Mr. Rob Parmentier. Remember, we are setting out to build a new relationship with Marketing so this isn't the time to complain about the change or criticize Sea Ray management for plant closures or reorganizations. This is a Sea Ray issue so writing to Brunswick management will be counter-productive and not helpful. Please be positive and don't put this off because Rob will only be in Knoxville for another couple of weeks.

Dear Rob:
I was both disappointed and discouraged to learn that you will soon be leaving Sea Ray Boats. I hope management understands what a tremendous asset they are losing.
Almost single handedly, you have done more to advance the brand and build company loyalty among the customer base than anyone else. Through your wisdom and vision,
you put a face on the Sea Ray brand for the owners.
I have enjoyed the projects we have done together. Because of your open mindedness and willingness to listen, the company enjoyed the huge and
overwhelming positive response we got from the Benjamin Byers Story at EXPO last fall, Liberty Landing Sea Ray Weekend, and Homecoming.
Because of your involvement with Club Sea Ray, some 27,000 Sea Ray owners now fully understand that there is an entire family of dedicated individuals behind each
and every boat. Because of you, Sea Ray is no longer just a faceless corporate entity. To a large degree, it has been through your efforts that we now understand how
committed the company is to our satisfaction with our boats. That has translated into extreme loyalty to the brand. While not everyone is able to own a new Sport Yacht or
Yacht, you made every Sea Ray owner feel important. Thanks to you, there are a lot of us who won’t own any boat that Sea Ray didn’t build.
Thank you, Rob, for all you have done for us and please know that you will be missed. I wish you every success in your future endeavors, whatever they may be.
Sincerely,
Frank A. Webster
