Last Summer we grounded and needed both shafts replaced. Early this year both shafts broke. One under no wake the other on plane with in two and a half weeks. Our dealer said, the work was no longer under warranty ( 60 days).
To keep close control of costs We had a Non-Searay shop do the repairs and they pointed out the shafts had not been alighned by the dealer last year. They documented it and said, I should meet with the Dealer to review my findings.
The Dealer" Skipper Buds" Came through and said, thier tech's are only human and can make mistakes. After a detail review they are going to send us a check for the full out of pocket cost on the repairs. My hat is off to Skiiper Buds!

Any one else have good feed back on dealers like this?

To date, we have been completely satisfied with our dealer - Colony Marine, St. Clair Shores, MI. They handled all issues that were discovered prior to and during delivery. All scheduled service has been completed and the boat was ready when promised. They even relocated the the drain hole from the anchor locker when it was discovered that the clamshell cover would be/was crushed by a roller every time the boat was put back on the trailer.

Even though they are in a neighboring state and a few hour drive away, we would definitely go back to them for future service and when we decide to purchase the next one.
