Thanks for resurrecting this thread, I missed it before now!

I love the Deadliest Catch, Real Testosterone MAN show... in another time and place I would jump at a chance to go join them!

DVR is all set up here!

Sure.. I think my wife could pay for a new boat if I went up there to greenhorn for them. I can think of some better uses for the life insurance money however.

My wife's hooked too. She likes the Hillstrand boys on the Time Bandit. I like the ethic of the Hansen brothers. Being from the Northeast and the Atlantic I have the deepest respect for all those guys. Largest waves I've been in were 12 footers. I cannot fathom anything above that.

Gary it was funny the first 15 times....now not so much:smt009

Actually I think that Gary is simply tring to make sure that when you search google or other search engines that you are given clubsearay.com when you use the word "Tiara" as your keywords to search on.

if you want to see where the Time Bandit is now. It's in Fishermen's terminal North of Seattle.

Click on the Time Bandit on the Right list and then zoom in to see it.

I know that over Easter Weekend the "Alaska Ranger" another local boat to here, sank.
King 5 News Alaska Ranger Sinks

But the Deadliest Catch Fleet was done on January 15th for Red(King) Crab. Then the Opelio season begins. I'm not exactly sure when they got back but I would assume middle of February or no later than the beginning of March.

I think the boat that sank was on last years season. I saw it on the reruns this past weekend. But that doesn't mean another didn't sink this year.

Yes last year a boat was lost but other than the recent sinking of the Alaska Ranger I didn't hear of one, and I'm close to the fishing community, I would have heard about it.

Depends, are you the owner, deck hand, greenhorn. A deck hand gets one share if I am not mistaken and a greenhorn usually gets a half share but some have earned a full share. Last week one share of the boat that was not king crab fishing was $90,000. They were on there way to get the load off so they could then head out to do some king crab fishing.

Basically does any amount make it worth the risk
