The local paper (The Capital) ran a fluff piece about these two today. A bit of reading on their blog leads me to believe they won't make it past North Carolina without killing themselves or someone else. Thoughts, comments? I really like the fact that they can't afford to have nav lights.

My inexperience may show here but I have to ask...

Won't The Coast Guard pick them up & fine the **** out of them to an extent that will keep them off of the water?

If they are lucky this is what will happen. I'm all for that free spirit/live & let live crap until it cost someone else money. Or worse.

Coast Guard won't fine them... they should... Hey! Not only do they get free health care... they will probably get a free helicopter ride!!! (if they are lucky)
 
reminds me a little about a book I read called "Into the Wild", that didn't end so well.

I'm glad they are taking lots of video and pics, it will help Herzog when he puts together the Documentary like Grizzly Man.

i thought blair witch project was a little better,at least someone died in it. guess that will be part-2 in the saga of the gonzo:smt043
