it's happened twice now. engage the de-humidify mode on the cruisair, come back the next weekend and the unit is off and the breaker is tripped. at first I thought it was a storm or power loss, but it happened again. Otherwise the unit works fine. use it all weekend and no tripping. ideas?

Which breaker tripped? AC for A/C, main one for boat, main one at shore power base? IE is it only the AC tripping or the entire boat goes off?

It's the breaker in the main panel of the boat for the A/C unit.

You might want to call Cruise-Aire to see if they can help point you in the right direction. Possibly the compressor is having difficulty starting and causing an overload........but that's just a guess. I think you want to find out from them if there are any differences with the way the unit runs if it is in dehumidify mode versus normal mode.
