I've done a search for davits and pictures in regards to a 360 Sundancer, but either I missed them or my search is wrong.
Anyway, I'm looking for ideas/pictures from anyone with a 2002-2006 360 Sundancer and the davits you've used for your dingy. I have a Zodiac 310 RIB with a 15hp 2-stroke Johnson. All total weighs in at 215-220lbs.
I've been recommended a H20 10" from Hurley, but am a little concerned about lifting the boat up on the davits - either by myself or with 2 people.
Ideas/comments/photos of your set up are appreciated.
Thanks.

I have the Hurley and love it. That said, I usually need a second person to help me lift my zodiac compact rib 310. I have a 8hp engine, so I’m guessing with a 15 it is virtually impossible with just one person. I never boat alone, so that’s not really an issue for me.

I have the Hurley H3 with the added extension bars. I was in the same position as you. I wanted a davit system that I could load my dink by myself without having to remove the engine. The H3 has worked beyond expectations. I’m getting ready to start my third year with it. I simply pull up to the swim platform, snap the strap to the bow loop, crank it up and swivel into place. I have a 10’ Hard bottom with a 9.9 mercury outboard and could easily handle a 25hp if the dink was rated for it.

I called on a Saturday and was able to talk to Todd Hurley himself. I added the extensions because I wanted to be able to walk between the dink and the lazerette. I installed the whole thing myself while on the water with the help of a friend. If I remember right you are out of Grand Haven. My boat goes in the water April 15 if you want to take a look.

One disadvantage of the big platform is the crane picks up from the water on the side of the boat so I have the davits for 2 reasons, one to be able to off load the RIB in a slip quicker and they are removable when RIB is not on to open up the platform.

Thanks for the feedback!
Phasma, I am in GH and am going in around the same time. I would like to see the set up
When the H3 is not installed, is the hardware still as unobstructive as on the H2?
You indicated you had room to walk on the platform when the zodiac is loaded. How much room do you have?
I was looking at the H3, but I watched Someone try and load his dinghy on one and it looked extremely difficult. Didn’t know if he just got it or what.
Any pictures you can share?
Superwa, what is the length on your compact 310? Hard to tell by the picture if it’s the same length as the platform.

Phasma, am wondering if you could provide some more info on your setup...what is the hardware like on the platform when the H3O is removed? How much room is there between the transom and the dinghy when fully loaded? Why type of tie-down system do you use.
Thanks.
