I know a lot of others have done this upgrade but wanted to post pictures from this model. I also had a matching remote panel made for a Clarion remote.

Kudos to Scott Cambra for making the panels www.vectorled.com

Thanks, the install was pretty straight forward but I made sure that I attached each wire in it's original position as I removed each gauge. That way I didn't have anything to forget while the old panel was off and being used as a template. Re-assembly was easy, just time consuming. While the gauges were removed I took the advice on this forum and cycled the cylinder selector on each tach to clean up the contacts. So far no more jumpy tachs either. By the way, if you are looking to change out bulbs in any of the gauges,I found out they take a type 194, which can be had at any auto parts store cheap. I didn't go the led route, but there looks like room for a four bulb type 194 if you wanted to change colors.

I have a 96 30' Sundancer and just changed the panel. I had it made out of aluminum, then had it powder coated. When I reconnected the guages, 3 of the 11 are not working. 1-gas guage, 1 voltmeter and 1 oil pressure. I am sure I reconnected properly. After seeing that they were not working, I took apart and sprayed with wd40 and retightened. Still no good.Any ideas? BTW, the dash on your looks very nice. :smt001

CT,

Did you get new gauges or just the panel? I want to upgrade the panel and the gauges on my '89 340 but I am having trouble finding gauges.

I really want tachs that have the hour meters in them. That would give me 2 more 2" spots. I want to take the sync gauge from the far left side of the panel and move it between the tachs where it belongs. I then will have space to put a new 2" diameter depth gauge in the panel and get rid of the piece of crap on the top of the panel that came with the boat.

Yours looks great.

I put all new gauges in and I just painted the panel black for now. I want to make a new one out of wood but I havnt figured out what I want to do with my dash yet. I bought mine from overtons and put a depth finder where the clock was. They are white with chrome bezels.

cocktail time those look really nice
