Dangling Cooling Hose Bracket

After peeking around the engine bay one afternoon, I discovered a bracket that is attached to the cooling hose extender but not connected anywhere to provide support. I checked around to see if there was a stud on the engine block that it might screw onto but for the life of me cant figure out where its supposed to go. Does anyone have an idea of where it's supposed to be hanging from? I've provided some pictures for reference (first one is upside down, not sure why).

I suppose I'll just let it be, god knows how long it's been like that. I just find it odd that there's nowhere for it to go... Oh well!
