At a short haul out to clean the bottom before the summer I noticed for my opinion to much backlash (hope it´s the right word ;-)) in the cutlass bearing, especially on port side. So idea is to replace them at the next planned haul out.

But unfortenatly I cannot find the right dimensions. I have a parts manual, but I can´t find something there.

I could order 1 3/4 (shaft) 2 3/8 or 2 5/8 (diameter bearing) 7 (length) , but which is the correct one?

Help needed! :smt100

We run the boat now for 2 years and over 350 hours on the engines in this time. It was the best decision we could make.
It is the perfect boat for a family not only for the weekend. Spend 5 weeks in August and the beginning of September for holiday on the boat and had a great time. The longest non stop trip was about 140 NM from Terceira Island to S. Maria Island here on the Azores. No issues with the engines, everything working fine. We are only doing normal anual maintenance. Oil change, zincs, bottom paint, next winter cleaning of heat exchanger and aftercooler ...

The cutlass bearing depends upon the bore in the strut. Sea Ray buys the struts with the bearing installed so the 450DA parts list does not show the bearing as a separate item and, therefore, give the O.D. of the bearing. You will have to wait until you can measure the strut bore to order your replacement.

I replaced a cutlass bearing about 6 years ago and I'll try to find the receipt and part number when I have time to research it.
