Thinking about adding a faux teak to our stock cockpit table. We like the size of the table and see no need to replace it but its kind of stark white. Have been trying to reduce some of the glare when hanging out on the bridge as well as updating the look. Have seen some stock tables that has this treatment but curious if anyone else has done this and has photos.

look into 3m di-noc films.... we used a wood grain down underneath and the stuff is impressive.... seems to be a very forgiving vinyl to work with also!

Interested to see what you come up with. You could possibly paint it and then use a 3M vinyl on the top surface. 3M makes a lot of different wood grains and carbon fibers.

I have debated getting a compass rose veneer inlay and some teak and maple veneer and epoxying it to the fiberglass table top followed by thick UV stable epoxy. But I am not sure about my skills with fitting veneer and it might just ruin the table. Its too bad marineteak shut down. Buying from them would have been easier.

Cant go wrong with a compass rose!

What about finding a local artist to paint a design on the table and then cover with epoxy?

Really gorgeous but for my use, outside in the cockpit, I want something less $$ and something that can be stuffed in the holder under the rear cockpit bench where the OEM table goes. That's why I was leaning towards "topping" the existing fiberglass one to look nicer.

I did just noticed that Marinteak tables are now available at https://www.nauteakmarine.com/
It looks like a new web site and maybe new ownership?

We currently have a Marineteak table in the lowe cockpit and love it but I'm looking to reuse the existing table on the bridge. Partly because I like the size of it and secondly because it makes up the "sunpad" for the seating area on the bridge. I'm looking to just make it look nicer than plain white. Here is a pic of table on similar boat.

Different company, maybe reselling the same tables. Defender has a lot of the same tables.

Wife wanted a small cocktail table, $27 on amazon. May add cupholders and clearcoat. Reused the mount from the salon table since it never comes out from under the bed.
