CSR Rules

Fun!! this is like survivor (kinda) If you get a red dot "THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN"

We need more girls in bikinis then.

PS...I love survivor. We still watch almost every episode:smt100

It's all about the alliances!!
*hijack alert*
Richard Hatch and his 3 buddies were the first to figure this out. It was a pretty ingenious idea in that first season, when no one knew what the heck to do.

I have been concerned for some time about the accuracy and quality of some of the information posted on CSR........

Really? Maybe we should set up some type of screening process whereas all technical responses are proofread for technical accuracy before they're allowed to be posted. Of course that will cause those less than expert to pause before posting an idea, lest they receive an unsatisfactory rating....

Or, maybe this should be a place where we can exchange ideas and experiences, both perfect and flawed, and share an occassional laugh along with our love for boating regardless of our level of expertise.

I feel that Frank justified his statement of concern with the example he posted. That was something that should not have happened and as stated the poor guy may still be looking for his packing nuts. :smt101 We all enjoy what we do here and I would hate to see the delays in posting while waiting for review, there just ain't enough of Wesley for that.

Ding ding ding - - - we have a winner. This is exactly what is supposed to go here. You can carry on in this regard as will I. Those that want the rating system can now have it as well. We can all move along in harmony.

FWIW - I have been actually looking into features other websites I frequent are using and most have implemented this ratings thingy. So it can't be all that bad. I just have never paid any attention to it as you are certainly welcome to do as well.

I no longer see the comments. . . .OR the points.

I suppose knowing how many points you have (without the points being on public display beyond the Green/Grey/Red balls) would be a good thing.

OK, I spent the last hour trying to figure out this thing. An hour of non-enjoyment and high frustration.

I don’t see jack under User CP.

I have read post after post where other members also have not seen jack under user CP just like me. Obviously most of you have figured it out but some of us have not. Every time someone posts asking what to do after you click on user CP no one explains what to do after you click on User CP.

WTF, is it a super secret that only some know and will not share?

I’ve read thru this 14 page thread trying to figure out what it is that I am missing.

Will someone please tell us AFTER you click on User CP THEN what do you click on to see this stupid crap?

BTW, I am not having any fun. I hate this thing. Maybe because I am too stupid to figure it out.

Here is what I see when I click on User CP. See attached.

Presentation:

After you go into userCP, click on "edit options" in the upper left hand corner. Then look at your "user reputation" points and level.

What I have found in CP is under edit options, the top section, Login and Privacy, the top box is; Show My Reputation Level, in that box you check that you want it or uncheck if not, your points are shown there also.

It was showing the comments. Now it doesn't. Microsoft must have written this software. Useless function. Turned it off.
