CSR Rendezvous 2009 – Atlantic City NJ

So, I am getting in late, so is AC or Cape May or "elsewhere" the place to be:) Just trying to plan on being there to .......

Waterford, VA Home Place

It's not too late. July 5th would be too late. Pray for cheap gas.

Best regards,
Frank

Michael:
It's AC, it starts July3, I will call and arrange for a BLOCK of slips and each person will call with his credit card and reserve the slip. You are not too late since I cant even reserve the block til Jan2

If you were a really 'good' cruise director, you'd drive down there on New Years Eve, drink too much, make friends with the dock master, and get us the 'T'!!!!!

Ron's a big boy....he can take it.

And with Gary's new super duper camera lens, he's gonna have to get use to it. The earlier the better....

Dom
Come on, if you are truly the "NORM" of Farley, you should go down and get cozy with the dockmistress and get her to drive some piles and make a second T-dock exclusively for YOU!

I may have enough belly but I'm way short on the hair to be Norm....

...I also spoke with Farleys with regard to reserving the T on H-Dock. Their policy is that they don't reserve the T unless you are a larger boat....like 75' and up. However, if the T is available, we can get it...that's the good news. Bad news for Gary and Stan is that the H-dock T will only hold a ~80' boat so two 48's won't fit. If the G-dock T is available, Gary and Stan can be together there just one fairway away from us. If the G-dock T isn't available, then Gary and Stan will get slips on F-dock....and they can help that guy get his electric cable out of the water over there. So, I guess there really IS a G-Dock and Gary will be on it.....!!! ...

We are a definite go! According to above, we're targeting G-dock T for Gary and myself. If not available, slips on F-dock. Do we need to make calls on January 2 to wrap this up?

Gary - you cool with this?

BTW. there's a huge parking structure for a minivan just across the road from the marina. Just in case someone doesn't run the boat north for this.

Best regards,
Frank

You may have to enter the thunderdome with Dominic for that T-dock space. If I'm going to ask for a block of slips I'm probably going to have to do so in one area, which would probably be on H dock out BY the "T." Norm (Dominic) says they tend to reserve the T-dock for 60+ footers so I'm not sure they'd accept two boats there, but I'd leave it up to you guys to decide and to ask for. BUT, it sounds like H is going to be the place to be seen on Independence day 2009.

I'm good with this. So we have to call on Jan 2 to give them some cash?

I'm going to also see about booking a few tickets on a broadway play later in the week in NYC....

Lots of plays on "The Great White Way" are closing their doors because of the economy.. Lets hope things are improved by the summer. Maybe Obama will be the savior.....

Hey Ron....any chance of 'shrinking' that pic above of the inlet? It makes reading this thread a little challenging.

You could just send me the cash....I'll keep it somewhere safe for you ......promise!!!!

If we can't make the boat trip up....(I still have grandma at home which limits our 'away' time).....We'll probably drive up and make a day in "The City" with you guys. Have any particular show in mind?

Dom, time to upgrade from that 15" NEC monitor they give you at the TPKE authority. Are they using windows 95 over there yet or stil on DOS? Can't the IT king order himself a nice 21" LCD?

I had the chart smaller at one point but the print was too darn small to see. I'll see what I can do.

Now it's smaller than the amount of silver you put in a filling these days.....can't see it, but the bill will be very ledgable I'm sure!!!

Yeah yeah. I re-re-re sized it. Remember, I'm a amateur IT geek. I'm a little slow on the uptake. With the toll hikes they should upgrade all you guys from these babies... Man this one brings back memories! My Dad had one with one floppy and an external cassette tape drive! Ok, get back on topic. I'm calling Farley on Friday morning.
