:grin:Greetings all,

I know this is a little late getting out but I wanted to go ahead and get something started. I have been communicating back and forth with the Paper District Marina located in Sandusky Ohio for our 3rd annual Club Sea Ray Rendezvous this year.

They have a slightly different reservation procedure and I guess one person has to collect the names and info for the group then fax it to the marina. I am working out the logistics as we speak. I will let you know when I have more information.

If you have never made it to one of our meet ups then here's a few links to the previous years threads...

I know that I always look forward to seeing everyone and it is always a good time seeing old friends and making new ones. I wish I had more information for you guys at this time but this is all I have for now.

The reserved dates I have put in are July 25th - 27th.

I will do my best to keep the info coming and keep any and all ideas coming in.

we should be able to make it if we have a boat by then, otherwise we could drive there i guess, hopefully wont get in an accident this time. would a Carver be welcomed to the get together

Would really like to go but convincing my wife to skip Christmas in July on PIB will be tough...

You just have to go the first weekend... Yeah, I was stuck between the 19th and the 26th as for dates, These are tentative and up for discussion at this point.

Jason

The 26th works for us unless we decide to go back to the North Channel this summer. We have 2 weeks off starting on the 26th and have been talking about staying local. I'm way behind on my winter boat work. Tomorrow is day 1 of many before a late April launch. Let's hope the lake is melted by then. Take care.

Bill

Hey Jason,

I'll put that on my calendar since I should be back from my motorcycle rally the week before that! Thanks for making this later in the month Jason! Hope to be there this year.

I'm interested. Although, since I'm not in cruiser class, if we are playing in the marina I may just drive up without the boat. Seems kinda weird to show up like, "Hi, I have a boat but I left it at home. I just came for the beer." It would be nice to put faces to the names. I'll figure it out. :smt001

We will be there. We will have a new addition to the crew this year so mark us Down for 4.

Alex, April, Knox, and child name/sex TBD June 11th
2006 34 Sundancer

Someone more familiar with the Sandusky Bay is going to have to let us know of navigational issues. The only experience other than cedar point is being on a friends boat who hit an unmarked submerged object and ripped off two perfectly good Volvo drives... I'm leery of it to say the least

ouch! Fortunately, the Moseley Channel will take you right to the Paper District Marina, so you can stay in freighter-safe depths the whole time.

there is a public boat ramp near by if you would want to drop in there.

Maybe you should just pick me up in the bird of prey.

It's really more of would I even use the boat if I brought it. I'm assuming most are going to stay on their boat or use it getting there. Unfortunately I can't boat my way there. Last year it was a no-brainer since I had to get to an island. Either way I'm putting it on my calendar.

Figures ,i will be leaving cleveland in may ,hopefully.

We're taking the carver so you can just borrow it. Please replenish the antimatter you use though

Bill, it would be great to catch up with you and your Mrs...

Jimmy Bouy, Happy that you are thinking about making the trip.

Alex & April, The biggest congrats to you guys that is fantastic news.

Everyone → I look forward to seeing my old friends and the opportunity to meet some new ones. I have already booked the marina for the weekend of the 25th - 27th. I will update the first post to show these changes.

Now, If possible I need a volunteer? I need to put together a list of boats and names to fax to the marina in the coming weeks. Could someone volunteer to pm me a list of the expected attendee's and update me from time to time? For your efforts I will supply you with a frosty cold beer?

I'll keep you guys posted on how things are shaping up. I was hoping to talk to Casey as he is the one that is really works very hard to make this all work out but I can't seem to get in touch with him or Deb. I do hope that everything is going ok with them. I will try to coordinate this the best I can this year and I am sure we will have a good time as long as the weather holds out better then last year... (fingers crossed.)

Jason thanks for the congrats! We are excited for sure.

I will start a running list of names, boat sizes and boat names. I'll plan on giving you the updated list at the end of the month with a final list mid July.

I'll try and get together who we have so far from this thread and if I can't figure it out will send PM's
