Lots of thanks to Jason and Casey for their hard work putting this all together! It's been fantastick

Good seeing everyone - old friends and new - at Middle Bass Island earlier today! The food at lunch was exceptional! Sorry we had to leave early due to weather forecast.

We made it back safely! Waves were easily 2 - 4 footers (and building). Fortunately we were headed right into it the entire way back. We took our time and the 215 Weekender handled it well. Gotta love Sea Ray quality!

For those still at MBI, here is the latest near shore marine forecast.

Great pics thanks.

Really cool to see my old boat "My 48 Off"......so glad Alex and his admiral enjoys it like we did.

Made it back to home port no worse for the ware. As a bonus I can dock my boat with no issues in 20knt southwesterly.

Great meeting everyone and look forward to doing it again!

Suzie and I made it back around 1:30, took us ~4 1/2 hours. Erie gave us consistent 3-4 footers and one large 6 footer that came from nowhere, I think the boat jumped all the way out of the water on that one. The coffee pot ended up in the kitchen drawer, at least it didn't break. We had a great time!!

Thanks to Jason and all the others who made for a great weekend. I left early (around 8:00) and the lake wasn't too bad, maybe 1-3 and very choppy. As special thanks to Carl for helping me shove off. I took the bow line off and the boat blew sideways with me trying to hang on. Carol showed up just in time to help out!!

I took my time and made it to the Mazurik ramp by 9:00. I did learn all of the places where COLD water can come through the canvas!! The drive back to Fort Wayne was 3 hours with no problems. Thanks again for lots of great food and meeting super nice new friends.

Glad you guys that traveled far made it back safely in the snot. It was great meeting both of you.

Here's a shot of the stellar marina we were in for the weekend.

If you have any photo's you can send to me please try and do so this week. I would like to compile and make another video to share!:smt038

If you need my email ( which would be better for me) please send me a PM as I don't wish to make it where these auto spammers can kill my inbox.

Thanks again everyone and especially Casey, Deb, and Family for the hard work put into the goody bags.

Next year we have decided to move the meet to the Paper district in Sandusky 2014. I will make a few phone calls in the coming weeks to see what is necessary to book a large group for the weekend. Again thanks everyone that attended and I do hope to see you on the water again this year.

Safe travels!

me and Shan had a great time meeting all you guys and gals. we left early sunday to avoid the chop and headed around the east side of PIB, our little SRV handled it like a champ cant wait for next year when we can stay a little longer

I recently coordinated a group of 7 boats. They would only reserve docks if we paid for them in advance. They try to put over-nighters on the southern pier, which I think has 30' fingers on the south side, 35 footers on the north side. Each slip on the southern pier has a single 30A outlet. The dockhands were very accommodating about grouping us together. They offered to put the larger boats on the northern pier, which has 50A power and 35' fingers on both sides, but we made do because we wanted the boats to be together.

J. Bistro handled our table of 16 people with excellent food and service. I was impressed.

Deb & I had a great time meeting everybody & making new friends! We enjoy MBI a couple times a year for the easy access in & out, even if you're just doing a day run to PIB or Kelleys. Thanks to Jason & Casey for organizing the event, & special thanks to Carl & family for smoothing the waves for our return trip (Admiral gets queasy in 3 footers).

Big thanks to Jason and Casey and there family's . Dina and I had a great time . Meeting new friends and catching up with old friends.
Dave ,thanks for the shout out. Dina and I are very happy with " My 48 Off " I'm glad I bought a boat from a true boater .

Alex

Did not make it to the rendezvous Anchors Away in Marblehead held their cardboard boat race, then there was a big party that followed with 2 bands. Long day and night helping to keep things running smoothly. Tending bar, helping set up the food and help with the bands. I will be at Kelly's all weekend docked at Port Side though. Hope to see some of you there.
