Todd and Family, Dave and everyone:

GREAT to see you in Roche for the start of your adventure! So glad to look at your pictures tonight and see you are having a fabulous voyage.

Keep the pictures coming and best of luck for the end of your cruise!

Here were the conditions we stared at for two days in Grief Point, or what Mighty Mo calls Good Grief Point.

Everyone in the South group had a great time and I'll let them chime in on there experiences as DaveM, Sundancer(Jim) and GenGiant(Holger) should be home today or at the latest tomorrow. I'm anxious to get and send of all the pictures to everyone.

Yesterday we came back over here to Roche with my cousin "Brady Bunch" it's his birthday today. We'lll be staying here and hoping to catch more crab. We got 3 keepers last night.

Great trip everyone and I can't wait to see everyone else's pictures.

wow what a great looking trip.

Great pictures Todd. I wonder what your house looks like now that the older kids have been left alone? Seems like it went by too fast, right? ( well...maybe not for Mo)

Yes, we set off in an hour or so to get back. I'm anxious to get everything off the boat and cleaned. I wish it were longer but if we don't go home mutiny is on the horizon and I haven't figured out a way to do this for a living yet.

It has been a great trip. I wish I had more time with the southern group. They are great people and I look forward to seeing them again.

Mo's camera has a few more pictures on it I haven't dowloaded and when in front of the home PC, I may find some other that should have been injected into the earlier threads.

Some random images finally uploaded now that we're home:

I see some CSR calendar photos coming out of that trip for sure.
The scenery is breathtaking and those snow capped mountains are amazing.

great shots Jim. It was great to meet you too. I just wish it were longer

There is always next year! We had a blast! Thanks for organizing it and getting some freshwater boaters out into the saltwater. I've been wanting to visit the San Juans since we got our first boat back in the 80's. It was a chore cleaning everything afterwards, but I even enjoyed that! The engines got flushed, the carpet cleaned, ropes rinsed and the whole boat got a good scrubbing inside and out.

Have a good time over on this side this weekend. We're meeting my sister and husband with their boat over on Lake Pend Oreille. They've never been there and we've been pestering them to do it for 10 years! If it wasn't for that, I'd meet up with you guys!

Well my trip this weekend to Sunland is postponed until the 15th, 16th and 17th. Somehow I had dates Brady and Michelle and My other Cousin Megan and her husband Greg were renting that house mixed up.

Here are brief Videos I took while we were in the 30+ knot winds that slowed us for two days in "Greif Point".
Not a great advertisement necessarily, but shows we did run into some weather.
We'll shoot for the 1st week in August next year maybe

Hi all,

Gengiant here from the "southern Cats".... First off, a huge thanks to Todd for pulling this trip together! The admiral and I had an amazing and unforgettable time on this trip! Everyone on this trip, both in the northern and the southern groups, made this a very special trip. It was simply amazing how well we all meshed. We are certainly looking forward to the next time we can go on this trip. Unfortunately, next year we can't (going to Europe instead to visit family for my dad's 70th...).

Todd, not sure how you were able to find the time to keep posting pictures along the trip, but "way to go"! We finally made it home Saturday afternoon and started cleaning out the boat. She's all spruced up again and tucked away for the next couple of weeks. But just when I am looking forward to transferring over 2,000 pictures from my laptop to my home computer, it craps out. I promise to share and post some of my favorites as soon as my machine is repaired (next week maybe?).

Until then....CHEERS!

Boy what a great trip! The pix look great, but the memories behind them ... must be awesome. We were up in Pender Harbour / Smuglers Cove last year. Great place.

So next year, lets see if this Canuck can hook up for a leg or two.

Cheers,
