OK. I reserved the guest dock at Oxbow Marina for the weekend of August 14-15. At this point in the season this was the only remaining date. www.oxbowmarina.com

The cost will be $.75 per foot per night. I will be there Friday night, the 13th if anyone wants to come Friday. Dockside power, water and cable TV is included in this price. There is also a great play area for kids and dogs as well as a pool....not for dogs. We will also have use of the BBQ and picnic area.

We will have room for 9, maybe 10 boats and we can take 50+ footers. I will be there whether anyone else shows or not but I need to know who is interested, what size boat you have and if you will be there Friday as well as Saturday nights.

If we get some interest in this and we find we have more that want to attend than we have room for we can look for a different venue for the next one. Once I get a feel for the attendence we can discuss activities such as happy hour, group dinner, breakfast, etc. if anyone might be interested.

I know we won't have as many attending as they do on the other coast but hey, we live in California and we don't have to impress anyone.

I am also interested in attending. I have a 1977 240 sdb. Haven't overnighted it yet but this is what I bought it for.

Hi Bill, did you get the invite to Tower Park the same day from the SRBCNC? It is the same day so are you thinking about Oxbow or Tower Park? I missed talking to you at the raft up on the 4th. I was heading over to your boat Monday and you started pulling out so I never had a chance...

Either way I would like to meet with these guys at Oxbow at least for part of the day.

Right now I will say I am in for Oxbow with you guys in lieu of Tower Park since we have tried to get this going for some time...

Thanks Ken. I appreciate that. The Sea Ray Club gets together all the time. This may be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
 
As of right now I only have 4 boats committed to this thing. I have room for 6 more.

If I don't get more interest by the end of July I will have to cancel this event.
 
I agree. I say by next Friday it"s not set I will probably confirm for the Towerfest at Tower Park. I hope a few more CSR members commit!
 
Sorry for my delay in responding Shawn, I will be there on the 14th and 15th. I will call Oxbow and reserve a slip today. Rich
