Okay All Northern Cal CSR Members,

I would like to put this thing together this summer if possible. I checked on the dates at my home marina and the available dates are below.
  • June 26 & 27 (BBQ area not available)
  • July 10 & 11
  • July 24 & 25
  • September 4 & 5
  • September 11 & 12
All the dates include Friday if we want them. Please note that the BBQ area is not available on June 26th. However, we can set up tables on the guest dock and have snacks, happy hour, pot luck, etc.

The guest dock at Oxbow can only take 10 boats....officially. But I do know where we can squeeze in a couple of extra. So it is very important that I get a boat count and favorite date ASAP so I can reserve the date. Let's get the date set and we can do the detail planning later.

There is a cost of $.75 per foot per boat for over night. That includes water, power and cable. There is a play area for kids and dogs, a store, Joe's Grill from 11-2 on Sat. & Sun for great burgers and dogs. Here is a link to the marina website. www.oxbowmarina.com

If we have more than 10 boats we will need to look for another location.

So come on all you CSR Delta Rats! We may not have as many members as those Right Coasters but its quality and not quantity. Let's show those guys on the Wrong Coast how we throw a party on the Left Coast.

Any one of the following weekends would work for me, listed in order of preferrence. July 10th & 11th, Sept. 11th & 12th, July 24th & 25th. Sounds like a good time. Rich

Either of the dates in July work for us! The July dates are preferred but not the only dates we can make it. If this works out I can maybe smoke some ribs (my world famous ribs) and bring some of my famous BBQ sauce...

And the verdict is..... ?

Hi Shawn, I was wondering how the plans are going for Delta CSR get together. Any update. Thanks, Rich

Rich,

As you can see from the overwhelming enthusiastic responses I didn't see any point in making it a priority so I kind of put it on hold. If I can get more interest I would be willing to re-look at it.

Let's see what happens in the next day or so.

Man are you Cali boaters laid back! Where's the spark for this Oxbow Incident? Looks like fun, and for 75cents per foot!

The only weekends I can't are next weekend and July 4th weekend. Other than that I am good to go!

OK. I am going to the marina tomorrow for the annual marina party and I will confirm the availability of the dates. I will pick one and whoever shows....shows.

Sometimes those deals work out best anyway.

Ken, did you get moved to Willow Berm?

Yep, we moved there Memorial weekend. We will be up tomorrow putting around.

Ok Shawn, well keep me posted, it sounded like a good idea to me. Plus, I really wanted to check out the "Pretender" and what you did to it. Anyway, I hope things work out. R
