Cruising to the San Juan Islands and Canada

Ken, only $600, that's pretty good. We will keep the boat up here at least through '15, making plans now to hit Alaska next summer (August). Then see what happens from there.

Love the photos and love the area where you took them. We took our 330 Dancer up there a few years ago and spent two weeks. We both agree that was the best two weeks of our lives.

I'm biding our time until we can take Beachcomber up there and spend an entire summer.

Great photos. Such a beautiful part of the US, they're making me want to go back and visit again. It's not just the scenery either, I always thought what a great feeling it was when breathing in that cool, clear fresh, pine tree laden scent air up there.

I think you just nailed it!

Wow just got a look at these pics. You are truly blessed with a wonderful cruising ground up there. Never have been out west and the wife certainly wants to go sight see out there. This may have to be on our trip list for next year. Not by boat, but defiantly worth a visit!!!

Thanks for sharing!!!

Another day, fresh air, blue sky, great views, no need to winterize. Just awesome!

Stop teasing! That's really not fair. Now I'll have to post pictures cruising the bay over the next week and a half...

Sorry Ken, having cruised both the Bay and up here. There simply is no comparison. It's not even close. I will post today's sunset in a few, thats after a nice cocktail and dinner of course.

The wind was not bad, 5-10knots

Looks like a beauty at Roche Harbor. We were just there two weekends ago! Love it out this way so far.

I imagine so but that's all I have! Have fun up there and keep teasing (until it gets too cold to go out).

What's this "too cold out."? Last year I was out every month of the year (Ok, it did snow on me twice, but that's not too cold is it?).

Jeeez, that scenery must get old. "Water, rocks, trees"...

We thoroughly enjoying cruising the Canadian Gulf Islands. We usually start in Port Sydney marina and then head north from there. http://www.portsidney.com/ http://www.genoabaymarina.com/ http://maplebaymarina.com/ http://www.telegraphharbour.com/ http://www.montagueharbour.com/ http://www.brentwoodbayresort.com/marina/brentwood-bay-marina.htm http://www.otterbaymarina.ca/ anyway check them out everybody has their own favorites....

Thanks Bill Collector. We are definitely going that direction next year. Looking forward to exploring new areas, but the San Juans/Victoria have not disappointed so far.

SR400DB, your just getting into my neck of the woods! Glad you are enjoying your new cruising grounds. I'll have to warn you though, the further north you come the more you'll be impressed! You better stretch your trip plan to 2016+ because the Canadian Gulf Islands, Sunshine Coast, Desolation Sound and Broughtons will definitely not disappoint! Enjoy!

I was just told this am by the Admiral, the boat is probably not heading south. That is just fine with me.

Wow, congrats I guess? A few random shots of our trip to SF and Jack London square yesterday...
