Cruiseair water flow and performance

I notice some Sea Ray boats flow water constantly.......mine will stop and then pick up again. I am told the later production units will stop flowing water when set temp is achieved. Is this true? My 400 Express is a 1996 model.

My forward cabin units works great.....but salon does nothing. No air flow, nothing. I am old check control pad first, switch with the one that works. Power is good.

Just got the boat last week.

Ideas?

On my 86 390, the water pump shuts off when the compressor shuts off.

I'm a 1997 and mine shuts off also. I believe it only runs when the compressor is running.

That's actually a setting on most Cruisair sytems. I can be set to run continuously or cycle on and off.

On mine I press heat, cool, and fan all at the same time. Puts the unit into humidity mode so it cycles when I'm away. Otherwise, when it's in heat or air mode water only flows when the air unit is actually running/cycling.

The water pump only runs when a compressor turns on, on either unit when you have multiple systems. The pump is attached to a circuit on the control board at the AC unit that powers up ONLY when the compressor is powered
