My 2006 320 has this thermostat control in the cabin It has been acting up and it will not let me change the desired temperature. I have been checking wires and playing around with it and everyone now and then it decides to cooperate, but it is not working again this year. I found are replacement on line for $260, but there is a newer unit that I would like to use, but I am not sure if it is compatible. The additional cost is nominal so it seems to be the way to go. Has anyone tried this? This is the website where I found the units. http://citimarinestore.com/en/parts...ch-cabin-control-display-eikon-722200350.html
Vince, that's pretty neat. Never seen one before. The website says you can call them for compatibility questions. I recently helped a friend replace both his AC units on a '95 370DA and there was a pigtail adapter that was needed to make his older digital displays work with the new units. Your situation is sort of the reverse, but maybe you'd need something like that (?)
Ron Since posting, I contacted them and they told me it was compatible and that I just needed a bezel. I ordered it and it shipped already, with the 20% discount total came to $244.80. I should have it for the weekend and will install and report back if how compatible it actually is.
