I was cleaning strainers today after an invasion of moon jellies and I shut the seacock to the AC pump with the salon AC still on. It shut down at some point while I was cleaning the strainer and now it just shows code HP blinking on the screen. They are SMXHT screens. I see that fault Code in other posts on the web but the not for the SMXHT. When I turn it on to heat or cool I hear a quick click like a solenoid and then it goes right to the HP code. I can’t get it to do a factory reset by holding the power and mode buttons.
The pump is primed because it feeds the other 2 interior ACs and those are flowing water fine. I tried running street hose water pressure through it but didn’t change anything.
What is the next thing to check?

Have your turned the power off to the unit for a period of time? Maybe a few minutes or more.

Yes, even overnight. Same issue when I turn it back on.

The pressure switch might be bad.

My HVAC friend told me I could jump out that pressure switch to test.

He also said you cant leave it bypassed too long because it can burn up the compressor if there is another issue.

Turned out to be bad high pressure switch. Good to go again.

Good news...How did you figure it out?
Paid a professional! Have you seen where that unit is located! I am not sure how he got in there. Truth is I would have tackled it myself and everything I read online said to change the high pressure switch as they are known to go bad but we have a Bat Mitzvah for my oldest this weekend that turned into a small party at my house Instead of a large party at a venue because of Covid so this week was crazy getting ready for that. I just wanted to fixed because we are heading down to the boat on Sunday to chill after the party.

Yeah the unit under the Salon Couch is tough to get to... I think the unit in my Master has a failing pressure switch. It periodically trips a HP Code. Weird thing is it will have good water flow each time. Hasn't tripped out in weeks so I am not sure...
