Crazy question

I'm guessing since the thread took a depressing turn that maybe y'all weren't familiar with what a trunk monkey was.

Earlier when I referenced the Marine Yoga Monkey it was intended to be a direct rip off of the Trunk Monkey, which I had not seen or heard of in quite a few years until this thread sparked that memory.

In any case, if you aren't familiar with the Trunk Monkey from a few years back, here is a sample.

The Trunk Monkey

:)
Hilarious wish I had one :)

“This stuff will make you a sexual Ty-ranisaurus…just like me”

Anytime I bleed working on whatever I’m working on, I take it as an assurance the job is well done.

I just turned 60 and have the same issue. My skin is getting thinner and I cut easier. No blood thinners, just age I guess. Ito so hot working in the bilge that I wear shorts and T-shirt. And I come out looking like I got hit by shrapnel.

Yep - were all gettin' old but back on track...

The sleeves that you see pro football players wearing... maybe?

The next boat I'm looking at is a 420 Aft Cabin so I can have the air conditioning on while I working the mains!

I start bleeding when I think of going in the engine room.
You just have to be careful. No suit of armor is going to save you. Just be conscience of it and respond accordingly….. you only start bleeding when you are wrenching like you’re 30 again
…. And don’t get me started on wire ties…..and hose clamps….. there are a 1,000 knives down there

I love to hear others experiencing what I do on every trip below the cockpit. I have started moving extremely slowly every time I go into the bilge area for anything. It doesn’t help much but at least I am not as sore afterward. But self maintenance is so much cheaper.

You must have bled like a stuck pig after your pre-party plumbing "repair".

I didn’t cut them … so no bleeding …It was like a tickle party when I went back in there to fix it right :)
