i have a 2009 330 DA. Two of my strainers are leaking water and need to be replaced. Two questions: is this a job that must be done by a service person or can I do it myself? Second, does anyone know the model number or part numbers for these strainers? One dealer told me the units are the same and another told me they are different. I believe the manufacture is Groco.

You can easily do this job. Take pictures as you go to refer too. Basically, close the petcock and remove the hoses. Unfasten the entire strainer and do your replacement parts on the dock or at home. Reverse the process to install. Super easy!

Just did my AC strainer. Bowl cracked from snugging up bolts (My Bad) I was fortunate that the PO actually had it with the saved original paperwork he gave me from when he purchased and the model number from Groco was with it. If you don't have the model number or it is worn off, most marine accessory stores carry them in stock. If you have one nearby, just take it in and match it up. EzPz.

If it's a Groco, the model number is formed into the metal part. Might be hard to see, but it's there.
