We had to leave the 500DB in Fla due to marinas being shut down and we couldn’t guarantee fuel etc for the trip north. We had to switch insurance companies to allow us to keep it there during hurricane season. We came home may 5th and I started worrying about what we would do all summer without a boat so I started searching for a runabout looked at a lot of garbage out there but got lucky with this original owner marina maintained 205 Sport. We’ll now be able to run across the sound and hangout on our friends BIG BOATS!
couldn’t go without being on the water all summer

That’s a cool boat! Only better then a boat is a friend with a boat

Now you have something to tow when you get Mojo back north again!!

Fair Winds and Following Seas my friend. Good luck with her.

Thanks Harold but I don’t see MOJO going north at least not with us as the owners.
She’ll probably live her life out in FLA with new owners in the next 1-2 years

Some first cruise pics of the new toy. Took a buddy out for the ride.

Maybe I confused everyone the boat is not our first Sea Ray our boat is stuck in FLA due to COVID there is a thread on that topic.

Congrats on the new tender! :)

A little off topic, we recently added a new runabout to the fleet as well and within the next day or two will start using it in salt water. It's a Volvo DP IO that is raw water cooled which I assume is the case with your new toy. What's your regiment to mitigate salt damage to the motor and drive? You're welcome to PM me if you don't want to muck up this thread.

Enjoy

Bart since the boat sits in salt water at the dock there’s nothing I can really do to flush the drive I am thinking of installing a flush connection for the motor
I’m still up in the air about keeping it I could flip it tomorrow and make a few bucks
Post a pic of your new runabout.

Maybe I'm being overly concerned about the salt issue but I'd rather mitigate any damage I can. I purchased the Salt-Away system for flushing when I pull it from the water. Will install an inline flush pretty soon so I can flush it when it stays in the water. Boat can't stay in the water too long here as you know because growth is rapid compared to where you are up there. Really don't want to bottom paint the boat though.

Nice ride, if I do sell it I’m looking for an OB bow rider this was I can flush and no long winterization process

So the little boat gave us a trouble free season to get out on the water I put 39 hours on her this boat and it runs amazing I wish I could take it to FLA for sandbar fun.
Brought it home to wet sand the hull and do a bunch of maintenance for next spring. Thanks, Noname for the season.

How did you come up with the blocking strategy?

Looks solid to me, very creative.
